Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive H-shape steel member that has been developed for solving a problem involved in a conventional H-shape steel member, and that has proper strength and can be reasonably used, and that is used for; a beam supporting a floor of a structure and a floor slab of a roof; and a girder designed within an elastic range of a steel material.SOLUTION: The H-shape steel member related to the present invention is a steel structure member which has a biaxially symmetrical H-shaped cross section having upper-lower flanges and a web, and which is used under the condition that both ends of the member are considered to be pin-supported and an equal distribution load acts on the member. In the H-shape steel member, a ratio L/H of L to H satisfies the following condition (I), and design basis strength F(N/mm) satisfies the following condition (II) when a thickness of the steel material constituting the member is 40 mm or less, tensile strength of the steel material is 300-510 N/mm, H denotes a height of the H-shape steel, L denotes a span (distance between supporting points) of the member and a defection limitation of the member is 1/k of the span L. L/H>6281/k : (I) 195≤F |
