PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a reinforcement insulating layer of a power cable.SOLUTION: Provided with a resin reinforcement insulating layer 12 formed on the periphery of the connection part of a conductor 4, and an inner protection tube 20 accommodating the reinforcement insulating layer and having both end parts fixedly supported by a cable protection layer 3 of a power cable 1, a space in the periphery of the reinforcement insulating layer internal of the inner protection tube is hollowed. In regard to the reinforcement insulating layer to the inner protection tube, support means 40 is provided inside the inner protection tube to suppress displacement to a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the power cable while permitting the movement of the power cable to the longitudinal direction. 【課題】電力ケーブルの補強絶縁層を保護する。【解決手段】導体４の接続部の周囲に形成された樹脂製の補強絶縁層１２と、補強絶縁層を収容し、その両端部が電力ケーブル１のケーブル保護層３に固定支持された内部保護管２０とを備え、内部保護管の内部の補強絶縁層の周囲の空間を中空とし、内部保護管に対する補強絶縁層について、電力ケーブルの長手方向に直交する方向の変位を抑制し、電力ケーブルの長手方向の移動を許容する支持手段４０を内部保護管内に設けたことを特徴とする。【選択図】図１
