Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of rare earth magnet alloy ribbon capable of forming a ribbon-shaped rare earth magnet alloy stably by controlling a production parameter when producing a rare earth magnet alloy ribbon by quick chilling coagulation.SOLUTION: A model for estimating thickness H of an alloy ribbon is used in consideration of wetness of molten alloy on a cooling roll surface, and on a chart on which the thickness H of the alloy ribbon is plotted to roll peripheral speed u, a production parameter during quick chilling coagulation is selected so as to enter a predetermined area capable of achieving steady wetness. 【課題】急冷凝固によって希土類磁石用合金リボンを製造するに際し、製造パラメータを制御することで、リボン状の希土類磁石用合金を安定に形成することができる希土類磁石用合金リボンの製造方法を提供すること。【解決手段】冷却ロール表面での合金溶湯の濡れを考慮して合金リボンの厚さHを見積もるモデルを用い、ロール周速uに対して合金リボンの厚さHをプロットしたグラフ上で、定常的な濡れを達成できる所定の領域に入るように、急冷凝固時の製造パラメータを選択する。【選択図】図2
