Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durable deodorizing catalyst unit which can be used in such a wet area space as has a high humidity and as may be exposed to an acidic property or an alkaline property.SOLUTION: A deodorizing catalyst unit comprises a metal base, an intermediate layer and a deodorizing catalyst unit layer. The air passes through a communication port of the metal base and contacts with a catalyst layer so that an odor material contained in the air is dissolved and/or adsorbed and deodorized. The intermediate layer is characterized: in that it is thicker by 1.5 μm at the end portions of the two openings of said communication port; and in that the deodorizing catalyst unit is used in the wet area. 【課題】湿度が高く、酸性またはアルカリ性に曝される可能性ある水周り空間において使用可能な、耐久性ある脱臭触媒ユニットの提供。【解決手段】金属基材と、中間層と、脱臭触媒ユニット層とを少なくとも有してなり、空気が金属基材の連通口を通り、触媒層と接触して空気中に含まれる臭気物質が分解および/または吸着されて脱臭がされる脱臭触媒ユニットであって、中間層の厚みが、前記連通口の双方の開口の端部において1.5μmより厚く形成されてなり、水周り空間において用いられることを特徴とする脱臭触媒ユニットである。【選択図】図4
