PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baseboard exhibiting the function of improving the interior effect of respective rooms and a corridor of a dwelling-house.SOLUTION: A baseboard of the present invention is constituted so that a narrow and shallow long recessed groove provided with a nail driving clearance is formed in the longitudinal direction of a long size plate by deviating to the upper side on a vertical width surface of the long size plate of widening the vertical width surface and narrowing a lateral width surface, and the vertical width surface of the long size plate is divided into an upper side surface part and a lower side surface part relative to the shallow long recessed groove, and a grain and a color fit for a grain and a color of a wall material surface for constituting respective rooms and a corridor of a dwelling-house, are applied to the upper side surface part, and a grain and a color of a floor material surface for constituting the respective rooms and the corridor of the dwell-housing, are applied to the lower side surface part. 【課題】住宅の各部屋、廊下のインテリア効果を向上する機能を発揮する幅木を提供する。【解決手段】本発明にかかる幅木は、縦幅面は幅広に、横幅面は幅狭にした長尺平板の縦幅表面に上辺側に片寄って該長尺平板の長手方向に釘打ち込み隙間を設けた幅狭な浅長凹溝を形成し、該長尺平板の縦幅表面を該浅長凹溝の上側表面部分と下側表面部分に区分けし、前記上側表面部分は、住宅の各部屋、廊下を構成する壁材面の木目、色彩に馴染む木目、色彩を施し、前記下側表面部分は住宅の各部屋、廊下を構成する床材面の木目、色彩を施した構成とする。【選択図】図１
