The reinforcement method comprises the steps of: opening a new bolt hole corresponding to the second bolt hole in the steel member to which an existing nut is contacted; removing the existing nut; applying the reinforcement steel member to the former steel member so as to cause the existing bolt to be inserted into the first bolt hole; and fixing the removed nut again to the existing bolt, fixing it and inserting a new bolt into a new bolt hole and the second bolt hole to fix the nut and arranging a fixed new bolt connecting part. 【課題】補強作業前に付帯作業、事前調査、荷重低減対策および暫定仮補強等を行う必要がなく、作業性に優れた鉄塔のボルト接合部における補強方法を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】鉄塔において互いに面で接している2つの鋼材のボルト接合部を、既存のボルトを挿入する第1のボルト孔とこの第1のボルト孔と離間している第2のボルト孔を有する補強鋼材で補強する補強方法であって、第2のボルト孔に対応する新たなボルト孔を既存のナットが接している鋼材に開ける工程と、既存のナットを取り外す工程と、第1のボルト孔に既存のボルトを挿入するように、補強鋼材を鋼材にあてがう工程と、既存のボルトに、取り外したナットを再度取り付けて固定し、かつ新たなボルト孔と第2のボルト孔に新たなボルトを挿入してナットを取り付けて固定した新たなボルト接合部を設ける工程と、を備えている。【選択図】図1
