The flows are caused to pass through one catalyst bed in such a way that the weight ratios of the diluent to the feed for raw materials are practically the same at inlets of the catalyst beds (3) to (7) and do not exceed 4:1. The method is preferably carried out at low temperatures and allows utilization of an existing apparatus owing to a low recirculation ratio.
