PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a prediction expression presenting simple dependency of a manufacturing condition parameter and a manufacturing result.SOLUTION: A prediction expression generation device applies a data order in a predetermined order according to the size of an index, to a plurality of pieces of past result data acquired in a past and comprising a manufacturing condition and a predetermined index related to a manufacturing result using the manufacturing condition; and is a predetermined prediction expression calculating a score by applying the data of the manufacturing condition. When a score order is applied in a predetermined order according to the size of the score calculated by the prediction expression, to each of the plurality of pieces of past result data, the prediction expression generation device generates a prediction expression so that the score order of each of the plurality of pieces of past result data is identical to the data order. 【課題】 本発明は、製造条件パラメータと製造結果との単調な依存性を表す予測式を生成することを目的とする。【解決手段】 予測式生成装置は、製造条件と、当該製造条件を用いた製造結果に関する所定の指標とから成る過去に取得された複数の過去実績データに、指標の大きさに従って所定の順にデータ順位を付与し、製造条件のデータが与えられてスコアを算出する所定の予測式であって、過去実績データそれぞれに、予測式によって算出されるスコアの大きさに従って前記所定の順にスコア順位を付与した場合に、過去実績データそれぞれのスコア順位がデータ順位と同じになるように予測式を生成する。【選択図】 図１
