Thus, an upper body of a seated occupant is allowed to move to the seat rear side and the upper body of the seated occupant enters into the seat back 20. Consequently, a head of the seated occupant moves to the headrest side and is promptly supported by a headrest. 【課題】背面パネル部を有する樹脂製のシートバックフレームでシートバックの骨格を構成した場合でも後面衝突時に着座乗員の頭部を速やかに支持する。【解決手段】車両用シート10では、シートバックフレーム22が樹脂材により構成されており、シートバックフレーム22は背面パネル部32を有している。ここで、背面パネル部32の中央部には、後方変位部34が形成されている。この後方変位部34は、シート前方側へ凸となる球面状に湾曲されている。そして、後面衝突時にシート後方側への荷重が背面パネル部32に作用すると、後方変位部34がシート後方側へ反転してシート後方側へ変位する。このため、着座乗員の上半身のシート後方側への移動が許容されて、着座乗員の上半身がシートバック20内に入り込む。その結果、着座乗員の頭部が、ヘッドレスト側へ移動してヘッドレストによって速やかに支持される。【選択図】図1
