A removing part 14 includes a wire 31 stretched parallel to an axial line of the rotation body 21 for sorting, and removes the hot melt 3 from the outer circumference part of the rotation body 21 for sorting by flicking the hot melt 3 by the wire 31 caught by the hot melt 3 adhering to the outer circumference part of the rotation body 21 for sorting. 【課題】混合物からプラスチック片と異物とを選別する精度の向上を図ることができる選別装置、及び選別方法を得る。【解決手段】選別装置1において、選別部12は、押圧用回転体22と、凹凸部23が外周部に設けられた選別用回転体21とを回転させながら選別用回転体21の外周部に押圧用回転体22で混合プラスチック4を押し付けることにより、選別用回転体21に付着せずに選別用回転体21と押圧用回転体22との間を通過するプラスチック片2と、選別用回転体21の外周部に付着するホットメルト3とを、混合プラスチック4から選別する。除去部14は、選別用回転体21の軸線と平行に張られたワイヤ31を有し、選別用回転体21の外周部に付着しているホットメルト3に引っ掛かったワイヤ31でホットメルト3を弾いて選別用回転体21の外周部からホットメルト3を除去する。【選択図】図1
