Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil-formable metal tubing with a certain length having a cut profile at the strip-to-strip weld advantageous against a fatigue resistant stress and strain state, and at the same time having a short weld length to reduce probabilities of imperfections.SOLUTION: In two metal strips 300 cut to manufacture a metal tube, a leading end 213 to be cut according to a bias cut profile is trimmed with a bias cut profile beginning at the longitudinal edge 221 with a first beta angle 350 (referred to beta 1) directed away from the trailing end 211, and then transitions to an alpha angle 355 which is smaller than the first beta angle 350 and directed away from the trailing end 211, and subsequently transitions to a second beta angle 360. The composite strips cut in this manner are positioned adjacent to each other to form a tubular shape having parallel longitudinal edges, and the longitudinal edges of the composite strips are welded together to create a metal tubing with a certain length.
