Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation of a nozzle cover member when wiping without increasing resistance when wiping.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge head includes two nozzle cover members 101 for respectively covering peripheral edge parts of two sides in a direction perpendicular to a wiping direction of a nozzle surface 2a of a nozzle plate 2. The nozzle cover member 101 has a cover part 102 for being in contact with the nozzle surface 2a to cover the peripheral edge part, and a support part 103 bent from the cover part 102 to support the cover part 102. A reinforcement member 104 is provided integrally with the support part 103 to make stiffness of the support part 103 higher than stiffness of the cover part 102.
