Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire in which high speed durability, road noise, and tire life are well balanced.SOLUTION: The pneumatic radial tire comprises: at least one belt layer 5; and at least one belt reinforcement layer 6 disposed outside of the belt layer 5 in a tire radial direction. The belt reinforcement layer 6 is formed so that an organic fiber cord is wound around a tire circumferential direction, and extension percentage of the organic fiber cord which was taken out after vulcanization at 0.02 N/dtex load time is 1.0-4.0%. The belt reinforcement layer 6 comprises an interval rubber layer 7 for covering at least a part of the belt layer 5 directly. Elastic modulus of the interval rubber layer 7 at 100% extension time is smaller than elastic modulus of a coating rubber of the belt layer 5 at 100% extension time.
