PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press switch with a simple structure capable of effectively reducing a click sound generated when a reverse plate is reversed.SOLUTION: A press switch 1-1 comprises: a flexible circuit board 30 configured by forming a switch pattern 33 on a film 31 with flexibility; a reverse plate 50 attached onto the switch pattern 33; and a base 10 mounting the flexible circuit board 30. An elastic layer 100 whose thickness is thinned by being pressed by a central part of the reverse plate 50 descending when the reverse plate 50 is reversed, is provided between the flexible circuit board 30 and the base 10. The elastic layer 100 is configured by a foam formation layer configured by forming a hollow by heating a resin coating paste coated on a rear face of the flexible circuit board 30 and thereby making a foam formation agent in the coating paste thermally expand.
