PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to view a captured image and additional information corresponding to the situation under which the image was captured.SOLUTION: A communication terminal causes an imaging unit to capture an image, detects a marker from the captured image, and identifies conditions for acquiring additional information predefined for the detected marker. The communication terminal acquires additional information selected on the basis of the acquisition conditions and a situation under which the image was captured from a plurality of items of additional information. The communication terminal superimposes an additional image 51a corresponding to the acquired additional information on the image captured by the imaging unit, and generates a superimposition image 51. The communication terminal causes a display unit to display the generated superimposition image 51.
