Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve miniaturization of a heat pump device casing while providing drying performance.SOLUTION: The drying machine includes: a rotary drum 1 for housing an object to be dried; a heat pump device 30 in which a compressor 32, a radiator 33, a decompressor 34 and a heat sink 35 are connected with a pipeline 36 filled with a refrigerant; a heat pump device casing 31 housing the heat pump device 30; circulation air paths 41, 43 for guiding drying air from the rotary drum 1 to the rotary drum 1 again through the heat pump device 30; and a blower 40 for circulating drying air in the circulation air paths 41, 43. A casing inlet 31a for introducing drying air to the heat pump device 30 and a casing outlet 31b for discharging drying air are provided on a sidewall of the heat pump device 30. A line segment Y connecting the casing inlet 31a and the heat sink 35 and a line segment X connecting the casing outlet 31b and the radiator 33 form an angle of more than 0 degree and less than 180 degrees.
