ILLUMINATION TYPE OPERATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination type operation device in which an area to be illuminated which is illuminated by indirect illumination is formed around an operation member and even when the sliding operation of the operation member is performed, the shape of the area to be illuminated is maintained.SOLUTION: The illumination type operation device includes a circuit board (14), a light source (15), a slide member (30), an operation member (70), a case (10), and light guide means (50). The light guide means (50) can be slid in a sliding direction integrally with the slide member (30) and the operation member (70). The operation member (70) has a shape covering the light guide means (50), including an overlapping part (73). The case (10) has a facing surface (12c). The facing surface (12c) has such a shape that the shape of the area to be illuminated which is illuminated by light after passing through a gap (S) can be maintained in the same shape on both sides in the sliding direction in both of the neutral state and sliding state of the operation member (70).
