FRAME PROCESSING CIRCUIT AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect frame termination from a received signal.SOLUTION: A frame receiving circuit 11 acquires a target code string equivalent to the number of codes Lt of a frame termination order set from a received code string of an inputted received signal, and a frame termination detection circuit 13 calculates, for each target code R[i] constituting the target code string, an inter-code distance D[i] with respect to a termination code T[i] corresponding to the target code among the code string of the frame termination order set, and also calculates a code error value E[i] indicating the degree of a code error for each of the inter-code distances D[i], and, when all of the inter-code distances D[i] are less than or equal to a distance tolerance value Ed and a total Es of the code error values E[i] is less than or equal to an error tolerance value Ep, determines that frame termination is detected.
