BEARING DEVICE FOR WHEEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel capable of securing a proper sealing function even when a load of a vehicle is applied.SOLUTION: In a hub unit 1 which includes an outer ring 2 fixed to a vehicle fixing member 20 at a vehicle inner side, an inner shaft 3 having a flange 3c connected to a wheel at a vehicle outer side, and a seal member 6 fitted to an inner peripheral face end portion at a flange 3c side of the outer ring 2, and sealing an annular space S between the outer ring 2 and the inner ring 3 to configure a bearing internal space S1, and in which the seal member 6 has an annular lip 62d composed of an elastic body, and continuously slidably kept into contact with a side face 3d of the flange 3c, interference of a part disposed at an upper side in the vertical direction in a vehicle loading state, of the lip 62d is determined to be larger than interference of a part disposed at a lower side, thus the deformation by a load of the vehicle is corrected, and the interface of the lip 62d is optimized.
