Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter that keeps average power consumption lower than conventional transmitters by achieving reduction in power consumption of both a mixer and a frequency divider according to desired transmission output power.SOLUTION: A transmitter includes: mixer cells 2002, 2002', 2003, and 2003' that are disposed in parallel; frequency divider cells 2000 and 2001; an addition node 2004; a phase detector; a capacitance adjustment voltage generating circuit 2006 generating a capacitance adjustment voltage; and a switch SW1 controlling the connection between the capacitance adjustment voltage and the frequency divider cell 2001. By connecting/disconnecting the capacitance adjustment voltage according to operation/non-operation of the frequency divider, the change in capacitance of a high-frequency signal node is compensated. |
