DROPLET DISCHARGE HEAD, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet discharge head and an image forming apparatus which can reduce deterioration of image quality while miniaturizing by mounting a drive circuit member.SOLUTION: The droplet discharge head includes a nozzle substrate formed with a nozzle array composed of a plurality of nozzles for discharging liquid droplets, a plurality of individual liquid chambers which respectively communicate with respective nozzles and are formed along the nozzle array direction to store the liquid, a pressure generating means for boosting the pressure in the individual liquid chambers, a common liquid chamber which communicates with each individual liquid chamber and stores the liquid to be supplied to each individual liquid chamber, a supply hole formed substrate which forms one wall surface of the common liquid chamber and in which a supply hole for supplying the liquid to the common liquid chamber is formed, a drive circuit member for transmitting a drive signal to the pressure generating means, and a connection member for electrically connecting an external wiring and the drive circuit member at a connection part arranged near one end side of the common liquid chamber in the nozzle array direction. The supply hole is arranged in the side of the supply hole formed substrate opposite to the connection part from a center position of the common liquid chamber in the nozzle array direction.
