Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment device capable of treating an end portion of a steel structure plate in a sealed negative pressure space.SOLUTION: A surface treatment device is composed of a decompression container opening on a side opposite to a steel structure plate; a suction seal installed around the opening of the decompression container; negative pressure generating means for extracting fluid from an area surrounded by the decompression container, the suction seal, and the steel structure plate; negative pressure adjusting means for adjusting the pressure of a negative pressure area; means for injecting surface treatment material; inertial moving means; a port cover plate for covering an opening part of the suction seal; and a seal plate for covering a generally U-shaped notch portion.
