Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas temperature control method and a gas temperature control device for a gasification melting furnace capable of reliably controlling a temperature of gas introduced into a melting furnace from a gasification furnace.SOLUTION: In a gas temperature control method for controlling a temperature of gas flowing inside a gas introduction pipe 108 of a gasification melting furnace 100, the gas introduction pipe is supplied with air. Also, a temperature of the gas flowing inside the gas introduction pipe is measured at a downstream side of a position where the air is supplied. Then, an oxygen concentration of the air supplied to the gas introduction pipe is increased when a predetermined first time period elapses after the measured temperature of the gas becomes lower than a predetermined lower limit temperature which is set on the basis of a temperature range of the gas required by a melting furnace 106.
