Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw-knotted steel bar which is screwed both rightward and leftward to a coupler having a screw hole in which either of left or right thread groove is formed, and which can secure a sufficient tensile strength in a state screwed to the coupler.SOLUTION: In a screw-knotted steel bar 1 screwed both rightward and leftward to a coupler 2 having a screw hole 2a in which a thread groove 21 is formed, a plurality of screw-knots 12 are formed on the outer peripheral surface of a steel rod 11 at a fixed pitch in the axial direction of the steel rod, and the screw-knots 12 constitute a left-hand screw and a right-hand screw at the same time. Each of the screw-knots 12 has a substantially parallelogrammatic shape, one pair of mutually parallel sides among four sides constituting the substantially parallelogrammatic shape of the screw-knots 12 constitute the left-hand screw 121, 122. and the other pair of mutually parallel sides constitute the right-hand screw 123, 124.
