Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel alkylation process in which feedstock is in a mixed phase (comprising gas in some part and liquid in some other part) and a product stream is in a liquid phase.SOLUTION: A process for producing a monoalkylated product in a reactor by reacting a mixed phase mixture of an alkylatable aromatic compound with other feedstock comprising an alkene compound in a reaction zone containing an alkylation catalyst. An effluent comprising the monoalkylated aromatic product and polyalkylated aromatic compounds exits from the reaction zone in a liquid phase. The polyalkylated aromatic compounds can be separated as a feed stream for transalkylation reaction in a transalkylation reaction zone.
