Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a position displacement preventing property of a retainer in a stroke type linear ball bearing in which the retainer that does not ride over a ball is incorporated.SOLUTION: An outside-diameter reducing face 14 or an inside-diameter enlarging face 17 is formed on an outer periphery or an inner periphery of an annular section 6, and guide of a retainer 2 by balls 3 can be maintained when the retainer 2 is inclined by a pocket gap, to further reduce a dragging torque than that by a race guide system. Also, the retainer 2 is made of synthetic resin and the balls 3 are made of ceramic, to reduce a total weight of the retainer 2 and the balls 3. Also, an internal pre-load is given to the balls 3.
