Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for cutting a metal by gas, in which cutting performance of the gas is further improved in a technique of cutting a metal using gas.SOLUTION: In a method for cutting a metal by gas, when the metal is cut using the gas, at least either of oxygen molecules and electrons or oxygen negative ions are supplied to a portion of the metal to be oxidatively cut. Thus, reactivity between iron and oxygen is improved, and accordingly, gas cutting performance can be further improved.
