PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently restrain deterioration of a contact pressure of a relay, and opening of a contact point.SOLUTION: A relay comprises: plural stationary terminals having stationary contact points; a movable contact having a movable contact point; a driving member for moving the movable contact in a first direction for approaching to each stationary terminal and a second direction away from each stationary terminal; a first insulative container; and a second container forming an airtight space, in which the movable contact and each stationary contact are housed, together with the first container and the plural stationary terminals. The relay comprises a magnetic material member not mechanically connected to the movable contact and the driving member nearer the first direction than the movable contact in the airtight space. Projection of the magnetic material member on a first plane vertical to the first direction is overlaid on projection of the movable contact on the first plane.
