GREENING PAVEMENT AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening pavement which enables sound growth of plants planted in a pavement section, without making the plants killed by being run over by a vehicle, which has strength capable of bearing a high load of the vehicle and the like and which can turn a greening pavement section into a thin layer, and a construction method for the greening pavement.SOLUTION: A greening surface layer 1 and a support roadbed layer 2 are provided from an upside. The greening surface layer includes: a tread pressure prevention material 5 in which a protective space is formed throughout peripheries of a plurality of protrusions 4 elongated upward and which has a plurality of openings provided below the protective space; a vegetation base material 6 which is housed in the protective space; and plants P which are arranged on the upside of a layer composed of the vegetation base material in the protective space. The support roadbed layer includes: a roadbed reinforcing material 8 in which a plurality of cells 9 opened upward are arranged and which wholly assumes a mat shape; and a roadbed material 10 and a vegetation base material 7, which are housed in the cells.
