STIRRING TEST DEVICE AND STIRRING TEST METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stirring test device and method, which allows for stable and continuous measurement of the electric field strength generated by stirring in a stirring container of a test machine without being affected by the surrounding measurement environment, so that optimal stirring conditions for an actual machine can be obtained based on the data from the test machine for prevention of insulation breakdown.SOLUTION: The stirring test device includes a stirring container made of an insulation material whose outer peripheral surface is covered with a conductive sheet, an electric field sensor which measures the electric field strength at the opening provided in the conductive sheet, and humidity control means which prevents fluctuation of the relative humidity at the opening. The stirring test method includes stirring with reduced fluctuation of the relative humidity at the opening provided in the conductive sheet by using a stirring container made of an insulating material whose outer peripheral surface is covered with the conductive sheet, and measuring the electric field strength at the opening during stirring.
