Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector which avoids the increase in size and improves workability of connection work and has improved fitting position accuracy by stabilizing a fitting state between male and female connector housings, and provide a male connector housing for the optical connector, and a female connector housing for the optical connector.SOLUTION: Slopes 131g and 131i inclined in a direction orthogonal to an inner side surface part 13c are formed on guide convex and concave portions 131L and 131R provided in a side surface part of a male connector housing 11, and counter slopes 110f and 110g facing the slopes 131g and 131i are formed on guided concave and convex portions 110L and 110R provided in inner side surface parts 13c and 13c of a female connector housing 13.
