description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably operate a decompression evaporator and a compression part which are components in a carbon dioxide chemical absorption system to which a vapor recompression (VR) method is applied.SOLUTION: In a carbon dioxide chemical absorption system, a vapor recompression part is provided with a decompression evaporator 20 for decompressing/evaporating lean liquid extracted from a regeneration tower 2 via a regeneration tower bottom pipe 19, a compression part 22 for pressurizing vapor generated by the decompression evaporator 20, and a recompression vapor pipe (VR vapor pipe 23) for putting the vapor pressurized by the compression part 22 into the regeneration tower 2. A lean liquid pipe 26 for evaporation which transports lean liquid from the regeneration tower 2 to the decompression evaporator 20 is provided with a flow rate adjustment valve CV1, and the decompression evaporator 20 is provided with a pressure gauge P1 for measuring the pressure inside the decompression evaporator 20. An opening degree of the flow rate adjustment valve CV1 or input of the compression part 22 is controlled so that a measurement value of the pressure gauge P1 becomes constant.
