Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inspecting a display panel, high in detection accuracy of a defective part in a luminous layer.SOLUTION: In a method for inspecting a display panel that includes a red display pixel, a green display pixel and a blue display pixel and has a color filter corresponding to the display pixel of each color, the display pixel of each color is irradiated with infrared light and monochromatic light having a wavelength corresponding to a red color through the color filter, separately or simultaneously, an optical image of the display pixel of each color during the irradiation is obtained, and a defective part of the display pixel of each color is detected from the optical image.
