description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a valve guide from being press-fitted erroneously into a cylinder head.SOLUTION: A valve guide press-fitting device is provided for press-fitting a valve guide 100, including a recessed part 101 on the outer circumferential surface at one end side and including a tapered part 102 on an outer circumferential surface at another end side, into a cylinder head H. The valve guide press-fitting device includes: an abutting part 31 which is abutted on the valve guide 100 from an upper side; a retaining part 43 which retains the valve guide 100 on the inner circumference thereof; and a lock part 43b which protrudes from the lower end of the retaining part 43 toward an inner diameter direction, enters the recessed part 101 of the valve guide 100 from the outer circumference thereof and locks the valve guide. In the state where one end of the valve guide 100 is abutted on the abutting part 31, the lock part 43b enters the recessed part 101 from the outer circumference and in the state where the other end of the valve guide 100 is abutted on the abutting part 31, the lock part 43b is disposed in the outer circumference of the tapered part 102.
