Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulation material which is much lower in density, which is excellent in heat insulation property, which is excellent in operability in manufacturing, which is easy to form, and which is easy to construct by using raw materials under the consideration of an environment.SOLUTION: A heat insulation material obtained by carrying out the heating molding of woody fiber and hot-melt binder core-sheath composite fiber is configured such that the composite fiber is composed of at least two types of components which are different in melting points, and the composite fibers are contained by 10 to 50 mass wt.% with respect to the bone-dry solid content mass of the heat insulation material. It is desired that a difference between the melting points of the highest core part component and lowest core-sheath component of the melting point of the composite fiber is 50°C or more.
