Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel laminate having a patterned optical anisotropic layer useful for various purposes.SOLUTION: The laminate comprises: a polarizer; a first film; and a patterned optical anisotropic layer disposed on one surface of the first film. The patterned optical anisotropic layer includes a first retardation region and a second retardation region, in which the first retardation region and the second retardation region are arranged in the same plane and at least one of an in-plane slow axis direction and an in-plane retardation differs between the first retardation region and the second retardation region, and in boundary lines between the first retardation region and the second retardation region, a distance L between adjoining two boundary lines is 1 mm to 50 mm. The laminate includes a pigment portion having a width of 5 μm to 200 μm, disposed at least a position corresponding to the boundary portion between the first and second retardation regions adjoining to each other of the patterned optical anisotropic layer.
