Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for secondary battery electrode especially exhibiting good compatibility with a negative electrode active material consisting of LTO (lithium titanate), while achieving storage stability of slurry, binding properties and electrode flexibility simultaneously, and enhancing battery cycle characteristics and electrolyte resistance, and to provide a secondary battery.SOLUTION: The composition for secondary battery electrode contains an active material containing lithium titanate, a dispersant, and resin, and the resin contains a structural unit represented by following formula (1). (In the formula, Rrepresents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl radical, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, or an aryl group. W represents a single bond or a bivalent coupling group. Zrepresents a specific substituent group having a bivalent coupling group of 2 or more atoms in the side chain).
