REINFORCEMENT STRUCTURE FOR CAISSON TYPE BREAKWATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement structure for caisson type breakwater that is free of scattering of a member constituting a reinforcement body even when a joint between caissons is still present, and does not lose capability as the reinforcement body.SOLUTION: A reinforcement body 15 is created on backs of a plurality of caissons 13 by piling up reinforcement body constitution members comprising stone materials such as back-filling stones 23 on a back of a breakwater 10 constituted by installing the caissons side by side, a high void ratio reinforcement structure part 20 whose width is equal to or larger than intervals of joints 14 present between the caissons is created on backs of the joints 14 in the reinforcement body 15, and a low void ratio reinforcement structure part 21which is created by piling up stone materials and lower in void ratio than the high void ratio reinforcement structure part is created on other caisson back sides.
