Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impulse type heat sealer which is capable of obtaining a good looking seal and not disturbing the function of the film when sealing is made while a thin plate-like insert is sandwiched between seal parts of a material to be sealed.SOLUTION: An impulse type heat sealer that makes sealing while a thin plate-like electrode tabs 2 and 3 are sandwiched between seal parts 1a of a resin film F, includes: a first pressing part 10 and a second pressing part 20 clamping and pressing the seal parts 1a; and heaters 12 and 22 arranged on at least either the first pressing part 10 or the second pressing part 20 for heating the seal parts 1a. The heater 12 is constituted of a first heater part 12a corresponding with the positions of the electrode tabs 2 and 3 and a second heater part 12b corresponding with other parts. The first heater part 12a has a lower thermal conductivity than the second heater part 12b.
