PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video recording device capable of automatically deleting video data from a built-in recording medium after the video data limited in the recordable number of times is recorded in the built-in recording medium such as an HDD and the data is copied from the built-in recording medium to another recording medium by a predetermined number of times, and easily managing and arranging the video data, and a television receiver including the same.SOLUTION: When video data limited in the recordable number of times is recorded or has been recorded in an HDD 10, a control unit 3 of a video recording device 1 changes the recordable number of times of a list of the video data stored in a management unit 16 to a received number of times when instructed to change the recordable number of times by user's operation of a remote controller 13. When the video data is recorded from the HDD 10 to another recording medium loaded in a BD drive unit 8 or the like for the changed number of times, the video data is moved to the recording medium to be deleted from the HDD 10.
