Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength-converting laser device having a miniaturized laser head principally executing a function as an original wavelength converter by providing neither a light absorbing part nor a heat radiation part on the laser head on which the wavelength-converting element is mounted.SOLUTION: A laser head 1 for converting wavelength by a single pass method is configured to have neither a light absorbing part nor a heat radiation part. Consequently, both of two laser light components L1 and L2 that have been split by an optical branch 23 provided after the wavelength conversion are coupled at an opening part 29 provided on the laser head 1 or the optical fiber. The wavelength-converting device can thus emit the light components outside the laser head, and causes a light absorbing part 41 provided outside the laser head to absorb it.
