Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of instantaneously focusing on a subject even when the subject jumps in from the outside of an imaging range.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: a first optical system; a second optical system; a first imaging element that converts an optical image in a first imaging area formed by the first optical system into an electric signal; a second imaging element that converts an optical image in a second imaging area formed by the second imaging system into an electric signal; a first focus driving section that moves a focus lens of the first optical system to a focusing position of a first subject included in the first imaging area; and a movement prediction section that predicts movement of an image of a second subject included in the second imaging area. The first focus driving section moves the position of the focus lens of the first optical system to a position different from the focusing position of the first subject according to the result of prediction by the movement prediction section. |
