PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain high separability of sheets, while preventing damage on a surface of a pressure roller, application of strong force to sheets, and image fault in which scars on the surface of the pressure roller are transferred onto sheets.SOLUTION: A fixing device 25 according to the present invention includes: a plurality of nozzles 34 that inject compressed air to a recording medium 8 conveyed from a nip part formed by a fixing belt 26 and a pressure roller 27 to separate the recording medium from the pressure roller 27; and a plurality of separation plates 36 that convey the separated recording medium. The nozzles 34 and the separation plates 36 are arranged in parallel in the width direction of the pressure roller, and provided on the pressure-roller side in a non-contact manner relative to the pressure roller.
