PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing one enantiomer selectively from the racemates of a compound exhibiting a high controlling effect on plant diseases.SOLUTION: This method for producing one enantiomer includes reacting an optically active camphor sulfonic acid with the racemate in a diastereomer of a triazole compound expressed by formula (I) [wherein, Xto Xare each H or a halogen atom: Xis a halogen atom: in a plurality of Xs are each the same atom; at least one of Xand Xare each a halogen atom; in a plurality of Xs are each the same atom; in a plurality of Xs are each the same atom: Xand Xare each a different atom: (m) and (n) are each 0 to 3; and * is an asymmetric carbon atom] to form a mixture of salts. crystallizing one of the salts, then dissociating the salt to obtain one enantiomer.
