PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article able to restrict degradation in wearing feeling, by restricting wrinkles or displacement of a flap part when the absorptive article is worn and by arranging this article along the body of a wearer.SOLUTION: The absorptive article 1 comprises: a body 2 that has an absorber 30; a wing part 43 projecting from an outside of the body 2 in the widthwise direction thereof and folded on a skin non-contact side of an underwear of a wearer; a flap part 60 located behind a corresponding wing part and projecting from the outside of the body in the widthwise direction thereof. The flap part includes: a first constricted part 61 whose widthwise dimension is less than that of a lengthwise area; a first flap part 63 located further forward than the first constricted part 61 and projecting from the outside of the first constricted part 61 in the widthwise direction thereof; and a second flap part 64 located further behind the first constricted part 61 and projecting from the outside of the first constricted part in the widthwise direction thereof. The flap part has a recess part 70, which is depressed inward in the thickness direction thereof. The recess part stretches toward its widthwise outside from its widthwise inside as it extends backward.
