METHOD FOR REPAIRING OVEN WALL OF COKE OVEN CARBONIZATION CHAMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of thermal-sprayed body after the repair by thermal spray, and to suppress falling of the thermal-sprayed body from the oven wall and fluctuation of operating life.SOLUTION: This repairing method of oven wall of the coke oven carbonization chamber comprises: determining, before thermal spraying, proper conditions of moving velocity V of a thermal spray nozzle 20 at thermal spraying, supply amounts Q of thermal spray materials, and surface temperature T of the damaged part, so that shear strength τ between the oven wall 3 and the thermal-sprayed body 31 formed by deposition of thermal spray materials to the oven wall 3 can secure strength larger than that of refractory constituting the oven wall 3; and setting the moving velocity V of a thermal spray nozzle 20 and supply amounts Q of thermal spray materials, based on the surface temperature T of the damaged part 4, so as to fulfill the proper conditions, and conducting the thermal spray operation.
