Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose solution produced by using an ionic liquid and excellent in productivity when a cellulose fiber is produced, and to provide a method of producing the cellulose solution.SOLUTION: The cellulose solution is produced by dissolving a pulp in the ionic liquid, wherein kinetic viscosity is in the range of 40-110 Pa s. The method of producing the cellulose solution includes dissolving the pulp in the ionic liquid. When the pulp is dissolved in the ionic liquid, the mixture of the pulp and the ionic liquid is stirred so that the stirring revolving rotation speed applied to the mixture falls within a range of 40-100 rpm.
