Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nanocomposite thermoelectric conversion material having high thermoelectric characteristics, which are hardly achieved with the phonon scattering effect only, by increasing the Seebeck coefficient and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the nanocomposite thermoelectric conversion material includes the following steps: blending an excessive amount of a salt of one kind of constituent elements serving as a semiconductor among plural constituent elements of thermoelectric conversion material with respect to stoichiometric composition when the plural constituent elements are blended; mixing the compound with a reducing agent to obtain a slurry including nanoparticles of each constituent element; performing hydrothermal synthesis on the slurry and alloying the stoichiometric composition to form nanoparticles of the thermoelectric conversion material and to prepare nanoparticles which are the one kind of constituent elements as a semiconductor; sintering the obtained mixed powder of the nanoparticles to obtain a precursor of semiconductor nanoparticles dispersed in a matrix from the thermoelectric conversion material; and plastic-deforming the semiconductor nanoparticles by performing hot strengthening processing on the precursor to form a semiconductor nanowire of the thermoelectric conversion material disposed in a conductive plane being oriented in a conductive direction.
