DISPLAY DEVICE AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having advantages of reducing the number of data driving circuit chips, ensuring a sufficient space for integrating gate driving circuits, and reducing a display defect such as a visible horizontal line.SOLUTION: The display device includes: a display panel including a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix form, a plurality of gate lines which extend in a row direction, and a plurality of data lines which cross the plurality of gate lines; a first gate driver and a second gate driver which transmit a gate signal to the plurality of the gate lines and are at edge regions of the display panel which face each other; and a data driver which transmits data voltages to the plurality of the data lines. In the display device, the plurality of the pixels include a plurality of first color pixel rows which displays a first color, a plurality of second color pixel rows which displays a second color, and a plurality of third color pixel rows which displays a third color, and the plurality of the first color pixel rows are connected to the first gate driver, the plurality of the second color pixel rows are connected to the second gate driver, and the plurality of the third color pixel rows are connected to the first gate driver and the second gate driver alternately in column direction.
