DEMOLITION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demolition method of a tower-like body which eliminates the need for transporting and installing cranes or support columns for demolition and facilitates the demolition operation.SOLUTION: Wires 23a, 23b, 23c are mounted to an upper flange 13a of an upper steel pipe column 10-1. A lower flange 13b of the upper steel pipe column 10-1 and the upper flange 13a of the lower steel pipe column 10-2 thereunder are connected with a wire 33. Then, the steel pipe column 10-1 is tilted by winding up the wire 23c while unwinding the wires 23a, 23b. Furthermore, a halfway position of the wire 23c is hanged on a pulley 49 mounted to the upper flange 13a of the lower steel pipe column 10-2 so as to remove the wires 23a, 23b from the steel pipe column 10-1. The wire 23c is unwound so as to bring down the steel pipe column 10-1.
